A) The MRCOOL DIY Select 12K BTU Single Zone Mini Split System (115V) requires a dedicated 115V circuit with a 20-amp single-pole circuit breaker. The system has a Minimum Circuit Ampacity (MCA) of 19.5 amps and a maximum fuse/breaker size of 20 amps.
Only one dedicated circuit is required. The outdoor condenser receives the 115V power supply, and the indoor air handler is powered through the system connection from the condenser.
