The 3-amp charging rate makes it ideal for batteries under 25Ah capacity, ensuring safe and efficient power delivery without compromising cell integrity. Using a standard SLA charger on lithium iron phosphate batteries can significantly diminish performance and shorten lifespan, making a chemistry-matched charger essential. For larger capacity batteries exceeding 25Ah—such as the 54Ah or 100Ah models—a higher-amperage 10-amp charger is recommended for faster charging cycles.
