Like its electric counterpart, the CENTREX 3000 NE features Sun-Mar's unique continuous-flow drum design: as the drum rotates, compost moves forward along the longer, larger drum and drops automatically into a collection housing at the end of the unit. Under normal operating conditions, the drum does not need to be reversed for emptying. Odor control is handled by a 4" vent stack in place of a powered fan, and an optional 12V fan is available and recommended for heavy seasonal or residential use.
